NYC has a lack of girl scouts and with that, a shortage of girl scout cookies. Now imagine my delight when I found that my favorite bar (even more favored now), Double Windsor, was holding a girl scout cookie beer pairing. Beer AND cookies? I was in!
The bar had 4 beers which they paired with specific cookies:
Payback Porter w/ Thin Mints
White Lightning w/ Samoas
Double Daddy Imperial IPA w/ Tagalongs
Prohibition Ale w/ Do-si-dos
The Double Windsor will be having events for Victory Brewery (5/18) and Lefthand (5/25) in the next couple weeks, so if you’re in the Terrace, stop by. You won’t reget it. And that’s a guarantee.
